I Tjetjenien er homoseksuelle siden for\u00e5ret i stigende grad blevet bortf\u00f8rt, tortureret og enkelte dr\u00e6bt. Dermed l\u00e6gger hun sig t\u00e6t op ad den del af de danske imamer, som mener, at homoseksualitet er en sygdom, man skal g\u00e5 til l\u00e6ge med. Det er den slags udtalelser, der er med til at s\u00e6tte udviklingen tilbage og tr\u00e6kke vores samfund i en ekskluderende retning \u2013 en retning, der absolut ingenting godt er at sige om. Hvis vi skal sikre fortsat (og \u00f8get) ligestilling er der brug for en indsats fra alle \u2013 ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 arbejdsmarkedet. Den ekstra opm\u00e6rksomhed, det kr\u00e6ver, den ekstra byrde, det er, ikke at f\u00f8le man frit kan dele oplevelser fra sin fritid eller at h\u00f8re p\u00e5 diskriminerende udtalelser, der rammer \u00e9n personligt, uden afsenderen n\u00f8dvendigvis er klar over det.  Det kan v\u00e6re man laver et \u201dcover up\u201d, og ikke fort\u00e6ller p\u00e5 arbejdet, at man lever i et eksempelvis homoseksuelt forhold. Det kan v\u00e6re, at man bare g\u00f8r sig umage med at underspille en del af sin identitet p\u00e5 arbejdet.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6756f59 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6756f59\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-982c82e\" data-id=\"982c82e\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-829702f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"829702f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">Eftersom det ansl\u00e5s, at LGBT++personer udg\u00f8r omkring 10% af befolkningen, befinder en stor del af den danske arbejdsstyrke sig s\u00e5ledes i det, der, inspireret af glasloft-metaforen, er blevet kaldt et glasskab, som er et billede p\u00e5 de karriererelaterede barrierer, som LGBT++personer specifikt st\u00f8der p\u00e5. Som udgangspunkt m\u00e5 en medarbejders eller kundes seksuelle orientering eller k\u00f8nsidentitet ikke spille nogen rolle. Og derudover frygter mange, at man er med til at stemple og putte mennesker i kasser, hvis man itales\u00e6tter og s\u00e6tter initiativer i gang for s\u00e6rlige grupper.  I den ideelle verden beh\u00f8vede vi slet ikke t\u00e6nke over det. Der kunne vi alle leve med de forel\u00f8big 71 k\u00f8ns-identiteter og 37 samlivsformer som lige v\u00e6rdige. Og byde nye velkommen. Men indtil vi er der, m\u00e5 vi arbejde p\u00e5 det. S\u00e5 l\u00e6nge vores magtrepr\u00e6sentation og mediebillede ikke afspejler den mangfoldighed, der er i befolkningen og talentmassen, s\u00e5 l\u00e6nge er der et behov. N\u00e5r flere perspektiver tages ind, skabes der en st\u00f8rre forst\u00e5else af markedet og kunderne, hvilket \u00f8ger konkurrenceevnen.  Det er Merrill Lynch et godt eksempel p\u00e5. De erkendte, at mange LGBT++\u2019ere har s\u00e6rlige udfordringer, n\u00e5r det g\u00e6lder k\u00f8b af fast ejendom. For at im\u00f8dekomme udfordringerne oprettede de et kerneteam p\u00e5 10 r\u00e5dgivere til gruppen og efteruddannede mere end 250 finansielle r\u00e5dgivere i, hvordan de kunne yde bedre service til LGBT++\u2019ere.
