Men kvotedebatten er i en kategori helt for sig selv. Eller bare antydningen af, at man kunne forestille sig at vurdere medarbejdere og kandidater ud fra andet end vedkommendes kompetencer og meritter.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-3b96557 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"3b96557\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-17c5e9a\" data-id=\"17c5e9a\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-75fe4eb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"75fe4eb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Den generelle indvending er at; nu skal vi jo sikre, at det er de mest kompetente, vi v\u00e6lger, og vi skal ikke v\u00e6lge nogen p\u00e5 grund af deres k\u00f8n. Og helt i tr\u00e5d med dette argumenterer for eksempel Liberal Alliance i denne weekend for at fjerne det nuv\u00e6rende politiske krav om m\u00e5ltal for k\u00f8nsbalancer med; \u201dVi mener det er den enkeltes kvalifikationer der skal v\u00e6re afg\u00f8rende for om man f\u00e5r et bestemt job\u201d. Vi ville have givet kvinderne lige muligheder som m\u00e6ndene for at udfolde deres talenter i det professionelle liv. For det er jo ikke alene en forskelsbehandling, der handler om de \u00f8verste ledelseslag. Fra dag \u00e9t, n\u00e5r kvinder starter for foden af arbejdslivet, bliver de forsynet med rigtig mange kilo ekstra bagage i forhold til m\u00e6ndene. Teamet fik i 2012 besvarelser fra 127 professorer i naturvidenskab i forhold til, hvordan de ville vurdere en nyuddannet kandidat, der s\u00f8gte stillingen som laboratoriemanager. Alle ans\u00f8gninger var identiske, bortset fra at halvdelen af professorerne fik en ans\u00f8gning med navnet Jennifer og den anden halvdel med navnet John. P\u00e5 en kompetenceskala fra 1-7, vurderede de John til 4 og Jennifer til 3,3. Der var flere, der ville hyre John til deres eget laboratorium, og de ville ogs\u00e5 hellere v\u00e6re mentor for ham end for Jennifer. Han udskiftede Heidis navn med Howard, og gav grupper af studerende casen med henholdsvis Heidis navn og med Howards. Og dette lille k\u00f8nsskifteeksperiment gav et bem\u00e6rkelsesv\u00e6rdigt resultat. N\u00e5r studerende beskrev deres indtryk af \u201cRoizen\u201d var de meget h\u00e5rdere ved virkelighedens \u201cHeidi Roizen\u201d, end de var ved \u201cHoward Roizen\u201d. De vurderede \u201dHeidi\u201d til at v\u00e6re liges\u00e5 effektiv og kompetent som \u201cHoward\u201d, men de kunne ikke lide hende. De ville ikke i samme grad ans\u00e6tte hende, eller arbejde sammen med hende. De lidt afvigende resultater ift. den amerikanske viste dog, at kvinderne i Norge faktisk vurderede karrierem\u00e6nd og -kvinder tiln\u00e6rmelsesvis ens. De norske m\u00e6nd var til geng\u00e6ld betydeligt mere positive overfor karrierem\u00e6nd end overfor karrierekvinder. 75 % af m\u00e6ndene kunne godt lide Hans, mens kun 24 % kunne lide Hanna. 75 % af m\u00e6ndene havde lyst til at arbejde sammen med Hans, mens kun 36 % ville arbejde sammen med Hanna. De ville i langt mindre grad have hende som mentor, de mente ikke hun var en liges\u00e5 god leder, og de havde ikke lyst til at tage en \u00f8l med hende efter arbejde. Og sammenlignet med Hans mente de oveni, at hun i h\u00f8jere grad var en d\u00e5rlig for\u00e6lder. Jeg forst\u00e5r egentlig godt trangen til at lave strudsen, stikke hovedet i busken og ben\u00e6gte eksistensen af forskelsbehandling p\u00e5 grund af k\u00f8n. Det virker p\u00e5 mange m\u00e5der so much last century, at vi skal blive ved med at sl\u00e5s med ligestillingsudfordringer. Og jeg tror, at modstanden blandt andet baserer sig p\u00e5, at de fleste af os ville \u00f8nske, at meritokratiet faktisk fungerede. De fleste vil trods alt hellere se og deltage i sportskampe, hvor der g\u00e6lder de samme regler for begge hold, og dommeren d\u00f8mmer derefter. Vi ville \u00f8nske, at vi faktisk prim\u00e6rt blev vurderet p\u00e5 vores bedrifter og kompetencer, og selv vurderede andre retf\u00e6rdigt. Vi bliver vrede over, at nogen p\u00e5viser, at det ikke forholder sig s\u00e5dan. Rigeligt med data til at man b\u00f8r r\u00e6sonnere; at fordi man ikke selv er bevidst om problemet betyder det ikke, at det ikke eksisterer. I stedet for at fastholde en illusion kunne vi slippe modstanden og arbejde konstruktivt henimod l\u00f8sninger, s\u00e5 vi rent faktisk f\u00e5r det vi dr\u00f8mmer om. Og hvis vi ikke kan finde ud af at \u00e6ndre vores adf\u00e6rd selv, m\u00e5 vi jo bruge nogen instrumentelle indgreb, der sikrer os de fair spilleregler.
